That is Wizcraft’s flagship event. Wizcraft is India’s most reputed brand activation and entertainment management company. They are definitely the trend setters in the event industry. Wizcraft has loads of high profile events up their sleeves and they are doing better every year to prove their creativity not just in India but globally. After various events and some encouraging successes, a decision was taken to set up a franchise outside Mumbai. Thus, in 1990, the Delhi branch of Wizcraft was set up. Wizcraft was now well on its way to redefining events and entertainment as the country had never known before. Wizcraft’s first television event, the Uptron Awards, received tremendous visibility as the country had just started experiencing the thrill of live events. At the same time, corporate recognized the importance of connecting with their audiences on a one-to-one basis, and found out that events were an effective medium to do so. The Deep Purple concert in 1994 was a first for live concerts in India. The year 1996 was filled with milestones for Wizcraft – the Bangalore branch was set up, the King of Pop Michael Jackson was specially got down to perform to a packed crowd in Mumbai and Wizcraft in the headlines! Seeing the professionalism evinced in managing the Michael Jackson concert, the Government of Indian appointed Wizcraft as the official event management company for the 50 Years of Indian Independence Celebrations at Vijaypath, New Delhi in 1997. Wizcraft was also instrumental in event management getting the status of an industry. Wizcraft ushered the new millennium by organizing a 7 hour seamless show – India 2000 Millennium celebration – which was broadcast to over 150 countries across the world.
