These British headmasters were band upon their own and started...  moreIn 1939 some of the British headmasters (principals) of Indian princely schools came together to spread "Quality Education" to forge the "best citizens" of the country and mould personality of the students in to a "rounded whole". These British headmasters were band upon their own and started imparting "All Education to the few". On the other hand, Mahatma Gandhi wanted" Some Education for all." Late Shri G.D. Birla, who was the best friend of Gandhiji followed Gandhiji's message and started the famous Birla Public School. But in our opinion we should impart "All Education to all" to all those who come to join us - I mean to our students, in order to enlighten their mind, body and soul.
  
  Therefore in order to achieve the above aim, the Tagore Memorial Education Society established the T.M. convent School in the year 1972 which is dedicated to the cause of education, national welfare and social service and not as a commercial venture as it is a "Non Profiteering Association" and in near future it is going to become an "Educational Trust."  less
