Group Overview

When you join the IOPFDA, you're not just joining an association; you're joining a professional network of dealers and their key sales, marketing and operations managers, and their business partners from across North America. Under IOPFDA's umbrella are its two operating divisions, the National Office Products Alliance (NOPA) for office products dealers and the Office Furniture Dealers Alliance (OFDA) for office furniture dealers.

There was a study discussed that showed data that besides customers having the largest economic value on a company in the next 3-5 years (71%), the Government/Regulators would have the second largest impact at 54%. It is thus the job of government affairs specialists to make sure the impact is positvie and not harmful to small businesses and allows fair practices. There is no one particular characteristic of a company or business that allows it to have success in legislative outcomes. Each characteristic is only has a coin flip chance (50%) of having the desired outcome. But by combing more lobbyists, larger PAC money, etc., the chances of success increase.

Join one of the divisions or both at a discounted rate. The choice is your depends on your areas of interest. Each division has its own unique value and services beyond those of the Association
