CI – Cape Verde Investments is the government investment promotion agency and export, and whose purpose is the promotion of conditions conducive to the realization of projects of national and foreign investment, the promotion of the Cape Verde Islands as a tourist destination and the promotion of exports of goods and services of Cape Verdean origin.

Cabo Verde Investimentos (CI) is the first point of contact for any investment in Cabo Verde. CI is the apex organization for the promotion and facilitation of investment in Cabo Verde. Its main function is to stimulate the development, expansion and growth of the economy, promoting Cabo Verde as a competitive business center. It is with this mission that CI offers the Electronic Platform, “One Stop Shop of Investments”, which will be crucial for the promotion, settlement and monitoring of investment in the country. The platform will provide increased efficiency and effectiveness of the investment processes, improving understanding and communication between CI, its customers and other stakeholders, public and private entities, project developers of domestic and foreign investments. Thus arises the “One Stop Shop” that offers on a single platform all the necessary services once scattered through various institutions. The platform will base on time efficiency and de-bureaucratization of the investment process, ensuring that the process is completed within a maximum period of 75 days.
