With the headquarter at Kolkata, and regional offices at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, CAPEXIL has more than 3500 members across the country. CAPEXIL is an ardent advocate of exporters to the Government and the primary focus is to provide export assistance to its member exporters.

CAPEXIL, a premier Export Promotion Council in India was set up in 1958 by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India to facilitate the export of chemical based and allied products. The Vision of CAPEXIL is to catalyze development and promote India's export of a wide spectrum of chemical based and allied products and thereby stimulate the country's economic growth and help in employment generation.
 
MISSION
CAPEXIL's mission is to -
  • Understand wholeness of international trade and guide/assist the Indian business community to top up their exports, attain and sustain a pre-eminent global standing.
  • Act as an intermediary in establishing business contacts between foreign importers and Indian exporters so as to provide a two way service as global trade facilitator and
  • Undertake various promotional measures to promote country's export.
