Okay, I didn’t weep. But I was pretty angry. I was convinced that the 138 battle calculation would win. I've been right so far. The 138 combat calculation is currently winning 71% to 29%, as of the morning of
RuneScape gold February 15 at (EST). The worst aspect is that it's winning for all of the incorrect reasons. It's simply because it's superior in every way.
This is the reason we need to go back to Runescape's inception. Runescape started out as a totally different game than it is now. It was a blend of 2D and 3D graphics, a relatively slow speed of movement and a completely different combat system. The three-hit combat system is what people often imagine when they think of Runescape classic's combat system. This means you need to take three hits from your opponent prior to withdrawing. This is in contrast to Runescape 2 3, 3 and 3, in which you are able to run away at any time it suits you. But combat is more than just three hit combat.
Melee was the main form of combat in the original game. This was because all of the other styles of combat, like ranged and magic were mostly undeveloped. Ranged was completely undeveloped. There was a very limited amount of
buy RuneScape Mobile gold range armor and ranged was rarely used in a PvP context. Similar drawbacks existed for magic. The user had to wait for 20 seconds following casting a spell which did not work.
