Glasgow Warriors wings Rory Hughes and Junior Bulumakau have signed new one-year deals with the club.

The contract extensions mean the duo will be staying at Scotstoun until at least May 2017.Hughes made his Warriors debut at home to against Connacht in February 2014 and was part of the squad which won the Melrose 7s in his first two seasons. The 23-year-olds development was recognised at international level last summer when he was capped by Scotland in a Rugby World Cup warm-up match against Italy.Hughes and Bulumakau are the latest players to commit themselves to the Warriors after Jonny Gray, Finn Russell, Pat MacArthur, Fraser Brown, Alex Allan, Sila Puafisi, Ali Price, Ryan Wilson, Rob Harley, Chris Fusaro, Peter Murchie and Zander Fagerson all signed new deals as well.I feel Ive made real progress this season and to play as much as I have done has been really pleasing, Hughes said on the clubs official website.Scoring my first try for the club against the Ospreys was great and I enjoyed playing in some big games against Munster and Ulster away from home.Im learning all the time and Im looking forward to next season and continuing my development at Scotstoun. Junior Bulumakau has signed a new deal at Scotstoun Bulumakau, who arrived at Scotstoun from the British Army on a one-year deal in August 2015, was born in Fiji and moved to Scotland when he was 10 years old.Ive loved my first year at Glasgow and I want to continue to learn and improve, Bulumakau said.Playing for Scotland 7s was a great experience for me and Im looking forward to competing for my place in the team next season.Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: Rory and Junior have earned their new contracts and its a boost for the club that they will be with us again next season.Rory has really progressed over the last 12 months and his hard-working approach has enabled him to play in a number of important games for the club and win a cap for Scotland.There is much more to come from him and we are going to have some excellent competition for places on the wings next season.Junior came in earlier this season and made some very good contributions during the Rugby World Cup period, with the Munster game being a particular highlight.This was Juniors first season as a full professional and hes learned a lot about what it takes to succeed at this level.Were looking forward to him using this experience to improve even further next season. "The acquisition of Dale Weise contributed to the success of our team this season. A young veteran with a lot of character, Dale is an intense player with a strong work ethic. Were very pleased to have him as part of our team moving forward," Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin said in a statement. In 61 games with the Canadiens and the Vancouver Canucks in 2013-14, Weise recorded 16 points (6 goals, 10 assists). Weise added seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) in 16 playoff games, leading the Canadiens with two winning goals (tied with Max Pacioretty and Rene Bourque).

He has seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) in 22 playoff games. A native of Winnipeg, Weise was drafted by the Rangers in the fourth round, 111th overall at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
