The first step is to allow one of the players to open the main menu, select the online Diablo 2: Resurrected character they would like to play, and select"Lobby" "Lobby" button that is below the character's portrait.
  
  From there, the player should click"Create Game" and then click the "Create Game" tab and complete all details required before pressing "Create Game" at the end. Make sure you save your Game Name , as well as Password to be used. If you are playing with random players, keep the Password in the blank field and then select the parameters you want to use (like max player count and how close the players must correspond to creator's levels).
