  This was in the planning for a long time. It was time to get it just right for my brand. It was working with the Madden people to get things sorted out, check all the Madden nfl 22 coins i's and cross the t'swhen we had that completed, the rest was just about going for it.   Your legacy in video games dates to 1989, when you became the star of Tecmo Bowl. How was it to experience yourself as a virtual person back then?
  
  I'm still seeing myself in Tecmo Bowl. I've still got my video games. I have the game which I could play on. But it's hidden in a container somewhere in storage. It's iconic. It really makes me feel happy knowing that I have grown-ups in their 40s telling me, 'Hey, my cousin and I were involved in the most intense conflict of our lives, because we all wanted to be in the Tecmo Bowl when we were young. So our parents took the game and my dad locked it away in his tool cabinet. We couldn't play with it for about a month as the fighting was intense. I hear it a lot. If I'm at exhibitions for sports memorabilia, I see people are able to come up with the video game. They'll say, "I've own the machine that I play it on. My kids play it. My grandkids are fans ... in fact, everyone remains in a heated debate over who is gonna be Bo Jackson.' Tecmo Bowl ... that was a lot of tech back then. Now, you see it and it's like, "Wow it's an old.'
  
  Is it true that you've never had the pleasure of playing Tecmo Bowl?
  
  I have had no experience playing Tecmo Bowl. That's the God's honest truth. I've watched others playing the game a lot. However, I knew what I could accomplish. I knew what the Tecmo Bowl man could do. It's great hearing people compliment me on my performance from that event.
  
  Part of your video game return to Madden will be celebrating Nike's iconic Bo Knows campaign. Take us back to the beginning. How did the brand present the idea that Bo Knows was the name of Bo Knows to you?
  
  We were introduced to Bo Knows accidentally. Writers, directors, sketchers -- all of us were sat on the couch discussing some storyboards to shoot our next project. We wanted to trim the length of the script because it was a little too long. Everyone was offering their opinion on this and this. I asked, 'Why don't we do this? ... Do we do we not move this over here, and put this here, put it together and then cut it down to five or six second?' And they looked at me and said 'Wow. That's probably a good idea. A person across the table looked to me and said 'Bo Knows!' and it stuck. The table was empty and cheap Mut 22 coins nobody sat down to struggled with their minds or stayed up all night in search of that catchy slogan. It just happened sitting around the table, discussing shots.
