Overview
- Old School Runescape developer Jagex has decided to close the MMORPG name's Bounty Hunter worlds"until further notice" because of RS gold questions about gold farmers tripping them. After an early statement letting players understand that the worlds would shut down, the developers have gone into further detail on their strategies to revamp PvP. "It is time to make a change," Jagex states in the statement. PvP is a cornerstone of Old School. Our intention is to determine a long-term eyesight for PvP. As opposed to move from 1 release to another, we want a very clear direction for the upcoming few years that will inform the way we design content moving forward."
Plans to revamp PvP will begin taking place in February, and these ideas will be presented to the community. "We also expect to re-release Bounty Hunter at a few months, given we can establish a way to consistently monitor and act against boosting." Meanwhile, the minigame's unique things"will be made available elsewhere." The studio originally educated players of the player-killing minigame's closed in an update article on the game's site, saying it's"sorry to announce that we have chosen the decision to shut the Bounty Hunter worlds until further notice". The reason behind it, Jagex describes, is that the mode's"design sadly leaves it prey to gold farmers, who abuse its mechanisms to generate GP in excess of those amounts available via legitimate methods."
While it sounds the scope of the gold farming has not yet gotten to a point where it is impacting Old School Runescape's in-game economy, the studio explains it"undermines other game content and the overall integrity of the game." Due to the problems existing prior to a rework of Bounty Hunter in November 2019, the devs"do not believe that just undoing it would solve them", adding that"this is quite definitely not the result that some of us wanted, but right now we are convinced it's the best alternative available to us" Firstly, you may want to be making certain you are making the most of your skills, particularly your combat abilities. Thankfully, there are ways for you to level up your battle in a reasonable time. To start off with, you're going to want to hit level 10 as your first major benchmark. You can accomplish this, using cows in the farmhouse near Lumbridge. Since these will be the early stages of levelling up, you'll notice that it goes up rather quickly, and you may use the feathers and uncooked chicken that are dropped by chickens that will assist you improve your cooking ability. This ought to help you hit level 10, after that you can go on to the Lumbridge Swamp to undertake the Gaint Rights located close to the graveyard.
For to level 30, you'll now want to shift attention to level 9 NPCs known as Al-Kharid warriors. These will need preparation before facing, so take a while with you if possible. Their defenses mean this is a totally viable way for you to make your way to level 30. It may even be an AFK method of leveling up too as much time as you have enough food with you.
For the next 40 levels, I would recommend that you concentrate on Hill Giants. The reason that these can take you so far is due to cheap OSRS gold the amount of XP which you can achieve every hour. Additionally, but their falls are worth lots of OSRS gold. You can reach this area as soon as you've purchased a brass key in the Grand Exchange. Once you've the key, go to the respective region and enter a small home to get started.
