  Is RS3 the more widespread than OSRS?
  
  The RuneScape site shows players on every version, while the old school site is only for OSRS players.   Even Jagex employees are of that opinion. I have an RS3 JMod within my clan on OSRS and he told me that he thought RS3 was dying and it was a fairly common perception in the office. He also said that it's considered to be an advancement to join the Old School team and that most people who work on RS3 are keen to join an Old School team. However however, he was not able to join the OSRS team, and he stated that they paid very little therefore it was not worth his time on the RS3 team so he left Jagex a while back.
  
  Missing items are a negative site because it's skewed in ways that prefer OSRS. Basically, the way misplaced items operate is that they take a snapshot of active players at the time. If you play in the same day, but not on when that snapshot is taken , it will not reveal you. RS3 which requires less playtime RS gold to get better and in fact is built around more so on logging in quick short bursts of gameplay is an inherent disadvantage from OSRS that is built on the long-term, continuous grind.
