The answer is, they are not currently answering a great deal of pso2 sales questions and they left it an xbox exclusive. They will not say how long it will be until PC is allowed to play and that is the worst thing, as of now, the beta is for Xbox players. An open beta are not currently running only to test servers and such, they are doing it so people will buy an xbox and xbox live to play with the game. This is advertising 101, and folks are mad.

Why are people angry that it is a exclusive for Xbox? That is because they first off have not declared an end date to the timed exclusive. So wait and PC players have been left to sit in the dark. They have also declared that advancement that was open will roll. PC players could be set back 3 to 4 weeks behind xbox players, which for a MMO that was cross-play is a really bad thing for your community.

This timed exclusive additionally includes exclusive things, a few of which were given out as we were advised to either go out and buy an xbox or lose out on the opportunity for products, for the test, which is unjust to PC players. Ontop of that apparently the closed beta test progress can be rolling over. Placing behind Xbox players.

Why not just go buy an Xbox and play the beta that is open and then switch to PC once it launches? Not all people have the ability to visit the shop and drop $150 on an xbox and then pay for Xbox Live, just not to be excluded because some people have no cash removing the entire Covid 19 thing. Some people do not wish to invest the money simply because they won't ever pick up an Xbox again after launch, which is a huge waste of money, and there is also the fact that the Xbox will start this year (from what I have heard), which means that their new xbox will be even more useless.

Then there is the fact that SEGA/MS are retaining players from the dark about things, for no apparent reason. MS can also be adding in a Battle Pass system for no reason (this game has no reason for it at all) which will be a sign that they're willing to add more micro-transactions to the sport to milk players, which pisses off people. And then there's the community infighting like a bunch of kids. Nobody cares, if you want to play Xbox and only on Xbox, go do it. I dont think all $12 in my bank account will get me very far right now if you would like to bitch at me to buy an xbox instead of Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta expressing my discontent with SEGA/MS over this material, then pay me to go buy one.
