  Back in the early aughts in the early aughts, when the internet lit the world of gaming with LAN party possibility, one kind of fantasy adventure emerged: the MMORPG, or Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game, for you noobs.
  
  There were games such as World of Warcraft or Guild Wars that allowed you to chat and hunt with people from all over the world, and all you required was a semi-decent internet connection to do it. My most favorite game of choice was RuneScape, a game that included me and my friend banding together to take down the Corporeal Beast and to learn how the art of cooking a delicious monkfish and then play a few rounds of Gnome Ball.
  
  Those days of coming home from school , and playing on our shared computer as well as later on our own computer but keeping our bedroom doors open for us to yell at strategies and plead for gold were some of the most enjoyable memories I've had as a child.
  
  I've occasionally kept up with RuneScape throughout the years to verify that my account created in 2005 was in good condition.
